Americans have been watching terrifying footage of fires engulfing populated areas of Southern California. As of Wednesday morning, most reports were claiming that 0% of the fires were contained while heavy winds and low humidity were continuing to fuel the massive and spreading flames.
As BizPac Review reported, actor James Woods was one of many who shared, harrowing footage of the raging wildfires. more
While I agree, funding Ukraine in order to launder money and enrich the military industrial complex is ridiculous, I also do not believe it is the job of the Federal government to outfit local and state fire departments with money taken from me, at the end of a gun.

It’s not like Californians don’t pay a shit load in taxes. I’m not going to take the time to come up with some hard numbers as far as percentages, BUT, I’ve been in business for approaching 35 years in California. Back in the old days the checks we wrote to the California Franchise Tax Board were approx 10% to 15% of the checks we cut to the Feds. Now days they’re about even. WTF? And they’re currently 160 billion in debt. Really? These people suck. Last year they were only 60 billion in debt. Way to go Gavin.
Here’s the deal. I have lived between Seattle and Portland since 1967 and have been surrounded by progressive/Marxist/Satanists the entire time. You can go back to when I first began posting here on this site and you will see where I have been telling people who haven’t got first hand experience living in this environment that their worldview and how they vote is not well meaning, but misguided. They do not have good intentions EVER. They think voting for exactly what is going on in LA is somehow cute, smart and funny.
Marxism is the theory. Progressivism is the implementation and Satanism is the motivation behind it. They are subhuman pieces of shit and diabolical narcissists who lack any capacity whatsoever for anyone. Wherever and whenever they achieve critical mass they are consummate bullies and get off on using tyrannical government offices and agencies to increase innocent human suffering, misery and death. They lack any sympathy whatsoever for anyone, they are absolute fucking poster children for Asperger’s syndrome and have no capacity whatsoever for concern for anyone or anything other than themselves.
I have sat and listened to their conversation among themselves in coffee shops and bookstores in Seattle, Portland, Olympia and San Francisco for fifty years and on the commuter train into Seattle and they are wickedness and evil personified. One conversation I overheard was between a group that was discussing the proposition that if so many people believe that what is in the Ten Commandments and Bible is not applicable then God surely can’t condemn and punish almost everyone. God is going to have to recognize that times have changed and attitudes have evolved. I’m sitting there one part of anything about what went down in Sodom and Gomorrah , if any, resonated with these fucking idiot narcissists.
They are absolute Satanists who believe that individually or collectively they, and not God, is the ultimate arbiter of truth.
Man is not the measure of all things; it never has been and never will be. When man thinks that he knows better than God that’s when all the problems start.
The democrat party is made up largely of the very poor who live in taxpayer handouts and the very rich who are immune to the problems the middle class is faced with like inflation, crime. etc. The reason the LA fires are on every channel 24/7 is because the chickens have come home to roost for many very rich celebrities.They are paying the price for their extremist environmental policies.

Geoff C. just told me that on the Lars Larson show today, it’s been reported that 50 fire engines from WA and OR are sitting in Red Bluff right now, waiting to go through an inspection in Sacramento (at 4:30 this afternoon) in order to certify them according to CA regulations. They’ve probably been waiting there for at least a day, already.
Also reported, those that do not pass CA’s regulations will have to have whatever needs to be “fixed” or added done to them in order to drive the rest of the 6+ hours to L.A.
…seems to me they shoulda sent in the west’s Hot Shot crews to begin with. These fires need crews who know how to work in that terrain. Don’t these fires seem to be beyond the training of municipal fire crews? If they’re at all like Seattle, most of the calls for the FD are for Narcan “assistance”.
BTW: Adam Carolla’s podcast yesterday – from an undisclosed hotel room – was very funny, especially his riff on being “unhoused” and why he and his friends’ “unhoused-ness” is not at all the same as the city of Los Angeles’s definition. Highly recommended viewing.

My oldest son did the Hot Shot thing for a couple summers. For some reason or another if CalFire gets involved things need to get really bad before they’ll call in the Forest Service guys. I’m not sure how much worse things can get there right now though. And CalFire is there.
