All the major news sources have reported (within the last hour) that a mineral rights agreement has been reached but nothing regarding a recessation of hostilities, terroritory agreed upon, a decision on NATO membership, or even if Russia was involved.
I would think that is a genuine peace deal was agreed to by both parties, that a WH press announcement would be made immediately.
Putin seems willing to hand them over if Zellie doesn’t.

He came out yesterday with a blistering attack on Pres. Trump, saying that Macron made a fool of him by refuting a “lie” Pres. Trump was supposed to have made.
If Pres. Trump engineered a peace deal, he could be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. He would become an even greater hero if he wins and then tells the Nobel Committee to stick it up its collective ass.

Zelensky will not go back to Ukraine. He will go to some place like Paris or Amsterdam. I bet his wife is already there.
How about including a provision where Biden is extradited to Russia where he stands trial for starting this war?
There will be no deal until Russia achieves all of its objectives, which it is methodically doing. Putin is being reasonable and sounding amenable to thinking about considering the potential study of hypothetical peace plans. PDT knows this, and he is doing the same as he waits for the dust to settle. And ot will settle sooner how that he’s stopped dumping money and weapons into Ukraine.
The EU can huff and puff, and the little green goblin can stomp his feet, but Russia will dictate the terms and time of peace. Again, PDT knows this, and that is why he throws various deals and ideas out there as he goes about dealing with real problems for America. Let’s hold off on the cork-popping for a little longer.
