Minnesota’s New Speaker Wants the State to Focus on Fraud

Minnesota’s new House speaker, Lisa Demuth, said combating fraud is a top priority of the legislature, and she blamed Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) for allowing it to get so bad.

“There’s been record fraud over the last six years with Gov. Walz at the helm of the state,” Demuth, a Republican, said in an interview with Politico. “There hasn’t been any serious consideration given to stopping that fraud.” More

Meanwhile, Minnesota’s Attorney General, Keith Ellis is putting his effort towards defending the state’s “sanctuary” status from expected federal lawsuits. Here

  2. Any elected or appointed official that doesn’t at this point is on the take. It really is as simple as that. The other thing, DOGE is clearly a winning position. Democrat own polling shows their constituents closing in on 60% approval.

    What I heard today on a talk show is that everybody wanted this, but nobody thought it was possible to pull it off.
