One of the world’s most prolific blood donors – whose plasma saved the lives of more than 2 million babies – has died.
James Harrison died in his sleep at a nursing home in New South Wales, Australia on 17 February, his family said on Monday. He was 88.
Known in Australia as the man with the golden arm, Harrison’s blood contained a rare antibody, Anti-D, which is used to make medication given to pregnant mothers whose blood is at risk of attacking their unborn babies. More

I would have thought it would have been a Lesbian who had the Anti-D gene.
Bless his heart
If I had that ability they would bury me with a smile on my face.
What a gift his life was.
This awesome senior survived the Covid plan-demic AND hopefully had “pure” blood to donate that saves babies lives. This guy was truly a Godsend miracle.
And it wasn’t passed on to a next generation? Tsk….
There’s supposedly a dude in northern Europe somewhere that has some kind of naturally super rare blood type or ingredients therein (I dunno. lol) but he has to remain hidden because he was already threatened by some pharma freaks. I have to try and find the story. He donates as much as he can.
