6. My ex was divorcing her sixth husband when she got hit by a train and almost killed.
   The 3 million dollar settlement lasted about 10 years and she and hubby don’t have much to show for it now, 20 years later.
   I was husband number 3.
   Total of 7 children she was collecting child support for from the various exes.

   I’m sure there are multiple more insane stories where children are suffering.
