The head of the women’s wing of a secularist opposition party in India suggested in commemoration of International Women’s Day that the country should offer impunity to all women for one murder in response to the widespread rape of girls and women in the country.
Rohini Khadse of the secularist Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar’s), or NCP-SP, wrote in a letter to Indian President Droupadi Murmu on March 8, International Women’s Day, that women in the country “want to kill the oppressive mentality, the rapist tendency, the inefficiency of law and order.” To do that, she implied women will have to kill men.
The NCP-SP is one of several parties in opposition to the ruling Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under whose rule India has seen skyrocketing rates of gang rapes and gruesome killings of girls and women. Not if you’re a woman in India. I don’t know how many have been following what’s going on over there but it’s off the hook. There’s cases where a couple woman will get a train run on them, they get arrested, locked up, and raped by the cops. It’s a little crazy.
Another reson to reject out of hand any Indians in political power in this country: their values system is totally incompatable with modern Western thought.

It’s a bit more complicated than that. And I’m not disagreeing with you. We have a bunch of them living around here. They lean Lib. But their family structure and the way they raise their kids is far superior to your average wealthy whities. Their kids tow the line, they’re always respectful. If an Indian kid brings home a B grade he’s punished. Where your average white mom or dad could give a shit less. And what I’m noticing is a lot of white kids are hanging around Indian kids and that shits rubbing off. I dunno.
Per that bastion of knowledge, Wikipedia, Indian Americans and Taiwanese Americans are at the top for US income by ethnicity, well above ‘white’. So they are certainly productive, and likely pretty smart on average. So what’s with the culture back home that makes their lives so awful?

That’s where it gets complicated. I forgot to mention the Indians around here are Christians and attend church like clock work. Our accountant is Indian and she is always doing something with the church. I know because she filed extensions with the state so she could go do things with her church. Damn it.
There is the cast system there from what I hear.
I’m thinking most of the ones that make good or are in the upper echelon of society and a lot of them come here.
