SpaceX Rocket to Launch for Mars by End of 2026 Carrying Tesla Robot

Breitbart; SpaceX founder Elon Musk on Friday said that Starship will launch by the end of the next year to Mars carrying the Tesla humanoid robot Optimus.

Musk said that human landings on Mars could happen as early as 2029; however, he cautioned that 2031 could be a more conservative estimate.

Musk said in April during an investors’ conference call that he expected Optimus to be able to perform tasks in the factory by the end of last year. more here

  1. I like the Trump-Musk team as well as anyone here.

    But why by-pass the moon and go straight to Mars from Earth? Establish a base and launch site on the moon first. Then go to Mars from there.

    But there is something that’s keeping us from doing that.

    The Artemis mission to land humans (men + women) on the moon has again been delayed.

  2. They can’t go back to the moon because they lost the “technology”. Donald Pettit from NASA told us that. They are not going to Mars either. Although they might be going to Devon Island.

    First of all, I’ve grown to love your comments here. But here’s the deal and why you’ve been fed a bunch of BS. NASA doesn’t build crap. Essentially they’re a very poor engineering service. They farm out all the manufacturing and assembly processes to private contractors. And those private contractors have all those process and designs saved and memorialized for eternity.
