  1. Am a New Yorker from Queens and remember very well the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001. They occured on the day of the primary elections to choose the new Mayor of NYC. Shortly after the attacks all commercial flights were grounded and public transportation within NYC came to a halt. Mayor Giuliani and NYPD Commissioner Kerik were very active in trying to keep the public calm. It was a very fearful time. Lost a lot of friends that day and the following weeks and months afterward. No one knew what to expect after the terrorists’ attacks and for that I thank Mr.Kerik for a job well done .
May he Rest in Peace, Amen
