Mom always had us kids working in the kitchen, mostly dish washer and dryers. No automatic machines back in the day 1950s.

Looked like a guy, but anymore how do you know for sure. That little dance just wasn’t right.
This is family. Everybody was celebrating this thing Dad did in the kitchen. This isn’t a small thing.
Was it silly? Perhaps a bit. But that moment will be remembered by everyone present, that they were all there for it.
Reminds me of the day Mr. Kakalogical widened a doorway in our house, and nothing caved in!!! He did all the work and we knew it wasn’t a load-bearing wall, however, our house is over 115 years old and we had our fingers and toes crossed.
Mr. Kakalogical jumped like a kid, I clapped and hollered, and our dog Charley barked his head off! It was a day of great joy!
You know the thing is they’ve been attacking masculinity for so long now when you see an effeminate man some of us immediately recoil a bit.
Usually that much joy for something like this is likely from repeated failure at it. At least my happiness is great when I “finally” get something to work correctly after struggling with it for a while.
When I get something right on the first try I have amazement at it.
