Driver shot, assaulted after plowing through crowd, injuring 30: LA officials

FOX-

An incident in Los Angeles left 30 injured after a driver plowed into a crowd early Saturday morning. Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Public Information Officer Jeff Lee told reporters that the vehicle “became disabled” when the driver plowed into the crowd. Subsequently, the driver was allegedly “pulled out of his vehicle, physically assaulted by the bystanders. And during that altercation, somebody produced a firearm and shot the driver.”

The shooter remains at-large while the driver was taken for medical treatment. His condition is unknown.

Lee said that he was aware of reports that the suspect was kicked out of the Vermont Hollywood nightclub, but that he could not confirm whether that was the case. He added that it was something the police were “definitely” looking into. read more

  1. May the Good Samaritan shooter STFU, remain unknown and at large.
And may the po-po look, but not TOO HARD for the shooter. “Gee, boss, we looked but we couldn’t find him. No one seems to know who he is. Well put this one in the cold case files”.

  2. Odd how none of the articles I’ve seen to date have any real description of the driver. This one identifies the driver as a “him”, which is all the information I’ve seen so far.

  3. I guess there was more to it than reported by MSNBC and CNN. From their reporting I was lead to believe that the car had plowed through the crowd on its own volition.
