The Democratic National Committee (DNC) added to its recent string of embarrassing woes when it had to delete a chart posted to social media blaming President Donald J. Trump for grocery prices.
In a Thursday post to X, the Democrats’ official account posted the graphic with the caption “Trump’s America,” that showed spikes in the prices of cheese, dairy, produce, meat and alcohol, stating that “Prices are higher today than they were on July 2024 all in major categories listed below,” not divulging the source of the data.
However, whoever was in charge of proof reading on the social media team at the DNC may have been imbibing in alcohol because there was a problem with the graph that went unnoticed until after it was posted, and it was a big one. More
