  1. The president of Mexico warned not to try to enter the Mexican drug paradise. What are they going to do? Send the vaunted Mexican fighting force to stop the evil Yankees?

  2. Well, it’s not like we haven’t been down there before. The national security threat today is a whole order of magnitude greater than chasing a pack of banditos through the winter Mexican mountains and arroyos.

I wonder if there is another General ‘Black Jack’, along with his trusty Aide, Lt. Patton, to be found somewhere in today’s Big Green Machine? If so, hopefully, this go-around, unlike Wilson, our current Commander-in-Chief will fully provision and properly support them getting the mission done.

  3. @ Richard, The “Mexican fighting force” and the Cartel = same-same.
Whatever the tax is on remittances, quadruple it. Parasites don’t get to define the rules of engagement.

  4. The vastness of cartel enterprises, world-wide, is breath-taking. And with the sheer volume of things and people coming into and going out of our country on a daily basis is beyond staggering.

I just watched how an insignificant box of Christmas cards shipped to NJ from Indonesia was part of a national ring of high-end vehicle thieves. The box contained a few dozen individual cards, each sealed with the addresses of the recipients, and containing computer-printed VIN numbers for target vehicles. The cars were at dealerships spread out across the U.S.

When these shipments are discovered — not all are — the VINs are given to the HSI/FBI so they can physically inspect containers at the outbound port terminals where their last chance to recover stolen vehicles is to randomly check suspect containers.

I don’t imagine a video on this process will give away the agencies’ methods, but from what I saw their efforts seemed like too little, too late. It would be good to know exactly how much return we’re getting for our tax dollars on this behemoth outlay of time and money. I suspect efforts to slow or stop the cartels’ business results in a very small fraction of success, otherwise they would give up. The only way to defeat them is at the source.

  5. If you’re going after the cartels start with Nancy Pelosi and Gavin Newsom. Katie Hobbs and Adam ‘shifty’ Schiff, that farting dude and the colored broad with the rat on her head.
