Ninth Circuit Overturns California’s ‘One-Gun-Per-Month’ Restriction

Breitbart-

The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued a mandate Thursday overturning California’s “one-gun-a-month” restriction.

The case is Nguyen v. Bonta and the plaintiffs include the Second Amendment Foundation, the Firearms Policy Coalition, Inc., San Diego County Gun Owners PAC, two FFL gun dealers, and six private citizens including Michelle Nguyen.

The Second Amendment Foundation noted the “one-gun-a-month” restriction allows law-abiding citizens to purchase only one handgun or semi-automatic centerfire rifle (or combination thereof), from a licensed dealer within a 30-day period. more

  1. They also overturned the ammo background checks. Immediately. But Cal Doj is still trying to enforce it. Imagine that. I just purchased 500 rounds of 9 with no back ground check. Fun Fun.

Elise Stefanik is working on a bill to end that bull shit at the federal level. Let’s wish her luck. DJT has also streamline the process for carry permits in D.C. down to days. I can’t wait for the first street thug to get lit up by grandpa.

  3. Unfortunately, Ca. has already proposed a bill allowing 3 guns a month. This is what they do, they pass a law they know is unconstitutional and fight it in the courts for the next 20 years. Jan. 2028 you won’t be able to purchase a semi auto handgun unless the firing pin is micro stamped with the firearms serial number, which no mfgr. does. and then this will be in the courts for the next 20 years till they finally loose that battle and come up with some other B.S. unconstitutional law. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

  4. Brad, the bill they are going to pass is a ban on any handgun with a crusiform sear, which is all Glocks and many other striker fired handguns. They are trying to justify it by saying those gun can be modified with a “glock switch”.

Not what I’m reading according to CalFFL. It specifically targets Glocks due to the Glock Switch. I’m reading Glocks are the only handgun manufacturer listed on the bill. If you have other 411 I’d love to see it so I can pass it around.
