  1. Since my dad passed away 7 years ago in 2018 that would have to be a picture of me, my son and my 4-year-old-grandson who turns 4 on August 28th. A separate picture should be taken of me, my 2 daughters and daughter in law with my 5 grand daughters. I wish my wife had lived long enough to have met all of our grandchildren, She, would’ve loved them and have a blast being a grandmother.

  2. What a lovely photo.

My family never had that many generations of males at one time. We could have done one with my mother, her father, my oldest brother, and my nephew. But something about the generations of men makes this photo very special. That baby is going to treasure that photo.

I still feel the pain of seeing my father bravely trying to hold it together at my oldest brother’s funeral.

  3. I never met either of my grandfathers. Multiple generations of late marriages and children led to large gaps.
My father was old enough to be my grandfather, and after he retired he acted more like a grandfather to me. He taught me fishing, hunting and building/fixing things.

  4. In Latino world, Great grandfather there is only 45, at most.

I’d be a great, great grandfather in that world. Looking forward to another great being added on in another 7 years or so.

Talked to a 13 year old Latina back in the 90s and she said it was her goal to have a baby in a year or so for her mom and grandmother to raise,

    AN INTENTIONAL GOAL.

    That’s how they roll.
