Hamas Takes Ceasefire Deal, But Could It Be Too Late?

Reuters

Hamas has agreed to a 60-day ceasefire proposal with Israel that includes the return of half the hostages held in Gaza and Israel’s release of some Palestinian prisoners, an Egyptian official source said on Monday.

Senior Hamas official Basem Naim confirmed the group’s approval on Facebook. Hamas said other Palestinian factions informed mediators of their approval also.

There was no Israeli response to the Hamas proposal itself but an Israeli official confirmed it was received. Egypt and Qatar have been mediating between the sides with U.S. support. More

  1. Hamas has agreed to a 60-day ceasefire proposal with Israel that includes the return of half the hostages held in Gaza…

Will the Hamas savages return the top halves or the bottom halves?

  2. I have seen some recent posts recently that Gazans are armed and are fighting back – against Hamas. I hope they succeed! I saw another of a Palestinian woman teacher who was trying to reverse the damage done in brainwashing the kids, teaching them instead to care about people of all faiths and ethnicities.
This will all take time, but I see this as the proper exit strategy – and one that excludes Hamas, even eliminates it globally.

  3. First release all the hostages, living and dead (who are civilian non-combatants taken in the Palesstinian raid on Israeli territory) and then the talks can begin

  4. Half of the hostages? And Israel agreed again?
Put a chip in any Hamas prisoner released by Israel.
    Track the released prisoners.
When the released prisoner appears to be in a command bunker or around several other terrorists, drop ordnance and exterminate all of them.

If Israel is not chipping the Hamas prisoners to be released, Israel isn’t serious about eradicating Hamas terrorists. 60 days of tracking is exceptional intelligence gained for the next phase of destruction.
