Canadian Citizen Indicted for Illegal Voting in U.S. Elections

GP- A Canadian citizen who has lived in the United States since the 1960s now faces federal charges for illegally registering and voting in multiple American elections, including the 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential race. 

A federal grand jury in North Carolina indicted 69-year-old Denis Bouchard this week, revealing he allegedly certified false U.S. citizenship status to cast ballots in New Hanover and Pender County elections.

According to the Department of Justice, Bouchard falsely claimed to be an American citizen on voter registration applications filed in 2022 and 2024.  read more

    Meh. We had an INDONESIAN citizen illegally “elected” as “president”, so the Canada thing isnt much of a surprise…

    I believe I can top that.
    With two other friends, all being teenagers, went to Vancouver, B.C.

    While the Canadian inspectors talked to us separately, some other inspector ransacked our p.u. canopy, found nothing and turned us loose.
    They never found the loaded .22 revolver that was mixed in among the blankets and sleeping bags.

    We were very lucky, we had no clue about Canadian gun laws. (1966)
