Kraft Heinz to Cleave in Two

US News

Kraft Heinz said on Tuesday it would split into two publicly-listed companies, one focusing on the sauces business and the other on groceries, as the U.S. packaged goods maker aims to revive growth after years of muted sales. The sauces unit raked in about $15.4 billion in sales in 2024, while the grocery business generated about $10.4 billion in sales. More

  1. You’d think they would separate the sauces from the dry goods, but nope they’re splitting along domestic vs. international lines and even renaming each based on that division.

Seems weird to build global brands then trash the whole structure. I wonder if tariffs had anything to do with this change in corporate structure.
