AI is a misnomer. There is nothing intelligent about it. Intelligence takes creativity to think and create something that doesn’t exist or improve on something that does. AI is nothing but an ORACLE I/O large language model data center that is only as good as the programmer code that created it. It is hyped to inflate the valuation of those AI companies cropping up like mushrooms Musk’s included. There already exists technology that does need to destroy farmland and open space for a huge data center. That technology is fractal computing.
AI is just an intelligence aggregator. There’s no real creativity in the output. It’s just collects the works of those that have come before us, and fabricates a story. And there’s the rub… It often fabricates something that isn’t true, often a synthesis of things that are true. Which makes it maddening to decipher & read…

The Model “T” era of AI. Fifty to one hundred years from now, or sooner, it will be magnificent,,,,, or god awful.
I see a lot of AI-aided student papers which contain bogus references. In fact, that’s the telltale by which I identify them. The references look legit but the articles themselves don’t exist, cannot be located anywhere.
My IT neighbor calls it ARTIFICIAL INCOMPETENTANCE
