Operation Twin Shield was a resounding success: USCIS officers focused on more than 1,000 cases that had fraud or ineligibility indicators, conducted over 900 site visits and in-person interviews, and found evidence of fraud, non-compliance, or public safety or national security concerns in 275 cases—44 percent of cases interviewed. USCIS coordinated with our ICE and FBI partners, who provided valuable assistance during the operation. As of today, USCIS issued Notices to Appear (NTAs) or referred aliens to ICE in 42 cases, and 4 aliens were apprehended. Lowell — Amen to that, brother! Every time they have a press conference, they spend the first 20 minutes congratulating about 40 separate agencies, consisting of about 20:1 ratio of good guys:bad guys. Then they tell you they can’t disclose anything because of “ongoing investigations”. Then they wrap up with another 20 minutes praising the “courage and bravery” of everyone and how proud they are of each other and the amazing “cooperation” between agencies.
So, PLEASE, just do your jobs for which you are more-than-amply paid.
The other, more important, thing I want to know is why aren’t they bringing the hammer down on all the agencies who approved applications, paperwork, looked at IDs (or didn’t look at them), that were part of the process of gaining access to what was defrauded??!! This stuff doesn’t happen all by itself by people who probably don’t speak English well enough to do anything on their own. The various agencies probably provided translators so they could be defrauded, too.
WE are peons, and as such, I’m sure we’re not supposed to ask questions that dig too deep into the crux of what our elected officials actually do.
Wonder what Jazz Hands, Jihad Omar and Whining Klobuchar think about this.. Another state we will never visit.
