In a move that practically demands a scratching post, the official Democrat Party X account posted a so-called “explainer” video using animated cartoon cats to discuss the looming government shutdown. Titled “Kitty Explains Government Shutdown,” the video is being torched online — not just by conservatives but by thousands of Democrats begging their own party to take it down.

Like I have been pointing out, this is going like the guy you have seen who is going through an unwanted divorce or breakup. Behavior gets more erratic as each new effort fails and goes from being just odd to downright nutty. It’s going to continue to get worse.
Fortunately for the American people the Republican establishment knows that Trump has their number and by God they had better not make like Paul Ryan and come riding in to save their allies across the aisle or their ass is grass and Trump is going to mow it.
Don’t lose sight of the fact that all this deservedly scathing discussion about the stupid video is not discussion of the Dem’s intransigence in refusing to negotiate an end to the shutdown. The damned Dems have succeeded in distracting a lot of people, including their own. I believe that was their intent.
The kitty meme lacks creativity, honesty or respect for the audience. No wonder it was so widely ignored last week and they are trying to bury it now. It sucked.
They have to tell lies to their useless idiot voters like they’re five years old.

Just bad. Animals should not be used to portray any purely human activities. Animals only do what God designed them to do, and that does not include politics.
Animals used as symbols is enough: Elephants, Donkeys, Lions, Marlins, etc., are all OK to me.
