I think it comes back to being a type of cancer that generally develops slowly allowing for “watchful waiting” in older men. That they didn’t go after it hard when Stage 3 was diagnosed, may come back to patient needing to choose a path forward. Which, if public appearances are a true measure, might be problematic.
@ S C I was thinking just now that perhaps they had to stabilize another condition before they could start on radical cancer treatment. Perhaps his ticker was missing a beat, and they had to get that addressed first.
To let his prostate cancer get to stage three probably means they’ve been monitoring it for years already. They probably saw it when he was a Senator or VP and now they’ve decided to try to keep Joe around a little longer so he can lead his party to every greater heights (said sarcastically).

…lots of cancers USED to develop slowly.
But the Coof Goof changed all that.

The colon cancer that killed my mother was supposed to be one of those “slow burn” ones, but it killed her within a year of discovery, and yes they WERE looking.
I was unable to talk her out of the kill shot. She was the sort that trusted her doctor implicitly and couldnt fathom her government trying to kill her for being inconvenient.
Despite everything I told her as I recieved my own enforced education in the Jab about the freinds I saw sicken, the church brothers we buried the colleages I sent to the hospital, the kid I couldnt save, I just could not get her to translate that to the shot being a danger to HER, because, Doctor says its good.
