WASHINGTON–President Donald Trump honored Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk posthumously with the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Tuesday, which would have been Kirk’s 32nd birthday, in a touching ceremony in the newly renovated Rose Garden.

It seems to me the Presidential Medal of Freedom is an award given that usually only amounts to pandering to a specific group instead of honoring an individual that selflessly has made a difference to the wellbeing of America as a whole. In the case of Charlie Kirk I think the honor is well deserved.
