LOL, Eggs are actually one of the better things you can consume. And that periodic table, yea, it’s upside down.
“Eggs contain all nine essential amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein. A large egg contains approximately 6 grams of protein. This makes eggs a valuable source of protein for vegetarians, vegans, and people who consume limited amounts of meat.

Eggs contain every nutrient needed by humans (in some amount) except for vitamin C which is needed for collagen production among other things. The embryo / baby chick produces vitamin C in its liver which allows it to form collagen for skin, tendons, bones etc. to physically construct the body of the chicken before and after hatching.
Humans require cholesterol to produce vitamin D and the brain is largely made up of cholesterol. Some recent studies indicate that statins may play a major role in Alzheimer’s / dementia because of the reduction in cholesterol available for the brain to function properly. So eggs are truly the most complete, self contained, natural food source for humans.

Waiting for refined sugar to come back in vogue. If it’s not back by the time I’m 80, I’m taking a spoonful to help the medicine go down. Hell, sugar might be the medicine by then.
And then, I might just smoke a cigarette. Or a doobie. Whichever is easiest to buy.

I think on the third interruption, I’d’a shot the time jumper.
Mankind has lived, survived and thrived eating eggs, steak, and toast.

And this is why I pay no attention to anything the “experts” tell us. Over my lifetime (yeah I’m old) they all have changed their minds over and over on almost everything and tried to create panic in the general public. Do THIS or you are all gonna die….OMG Don’t do THAT…The seas are rising. GLolbal Warming or is it Climate change?…. The ice age is next….. we will all be dead in 10 years (30 years ago)….OH…nevermind…/facepalm.
Ignore them and just do things in moderation.

I’ll tell you what’s bad: most plant oils. Remember when ‘canola oil’ was introduced forever ago and how it was advertised? And then how popular it became? And now – finally – the research is in and it’s ONE OF THE WORST oils you can eat. How about that?!
And to me, the emphasis on cereals and grains for our generation was because American agriculture had geared-up post WWII to grow record amounts of it year after year. After all, what are those Great Planes good for? The world needs wheat, barley, rye, oats and corn! And what we have is generations addicted to carbohydrates with all the medical problems they bring.
Oh, God. Big Corn. And soy! Don’t get me started! 🤣

^ Of course, we had Great Planes, too, out there on our Great Plains. (I need more coffee or something.)

Funny! Loved how the dietitian time traveler got wise as he aged. The husband’s deadpan reaction to the constant interpretations was great. The wife was confused and concerned of course. Miss the normal gender traits of the 1970s.
