NOBODY SPOKE JIVE LIKE HER. RIP.
Oops, that was Barbara Billingsley.
I remember her in Petticoat Junction.
I remember June Lockhart as Timmy’s mom in the Lassie TV show. RIP.
I met her at a promotional event for the company I worked for back in the early 80’s. A very gracious lady. She came to our office after the event and even autographed our ginormaous NCR computer (back in the day of punch cards and it took up a whole room). I still have my business card she autographed for me.
She will now be able to join the number of different Lassies she acted and appeared with over the decades at the Rainbow Bridge. RIP June.
Bea Benederit was on petticoat junction
Danger Will Robinson.
RIP to Ms Lockhart, a hundred years is a pretty good run.
June Lockhart played Dr. Janet Craig on Petticoat Junction. S06 E07 was first appearance
RIP
Enjoyed her work.
RIP June Lockhart; enjoyed your work, especially Lassie and Lost in Space.
June Lockhart and my mom were both the same age both were born in June 1925. The She-Wolf of London was on the Roku channel yesterday along with all the other classic and cheesy monster, sci fi and creature features. I am still a huge Lassie fan all these years later, ROKU is currently playing all the reruns of Lassie.
She also had a small part in Sgt. York with Gary Cooper and Walter Brennan as one of Alvin Yorks younger siblings.
june was fine, but “lost in waste” was not

biggest shock for me – Timmy was adopted. According to Wikipedia, Timmy was the foster son of Paul and Ruth Martin. How did I not know that before reading about June’s death?
The script should have gone like this – “Woof, Woof” — “What’s that Girl? Timmy, our foster kid fell down the well?”
Fuah, we called Lost In Space Loused In Space which is what Mad Magazine labeled it as. Robbie the robot was OK as well as Will Robinson, but Dr. Smith was a major league fink and not to be trusted ever under any circumstances. I am not a big fan of Irwin Allen shows. I was wondering why a very young Timmy was on earlier episodes of Jeff’s collie Lassie now I know why he was adopted.
Jeff’s collie Lassie was on TV in the early to mid 50’s which is why I never saw it since we didn’t get out first TV (a Westinghouse b&w TV) until 1958 when I was 5. Jeff’s best friend was a chubby kid nicknamed Porky and of course Lassie.
Always a classy, dignified lady.
A great role model for young guys looking for a wife like her.
Took me years but I found her.
R.I.P. June.
geoff, Porky was played by Joey D Vieira. He had a fairly big part in the movie “The Patriot” and also was a composer. He stayed fairly busy in the entertainment business.
She was also in the original “A Christmas Carol” along with her father (Gene) and her mother.
Lassie was the main reason we got a male collie named Buddy for my son Thomas when he was 2 years old. He lived with us for 12 years and was one of the best dogs that we ever owned. Unfortunately, he died from a stroke at 12 and it was one of the hardest things that I ever had to do was to have to put him down because of his suffering. I didn’t take my kids with me when I went to the humane society to take care of him, and I cried all alone by myself driving home without Buddy. My youngest daughter who was 7 at the time said that Buddy had a croak. And now I own a 3-year-old blonde border collie named Kirby. I love my collies they’re special dogs.
