15 Comments on Reaction To Eating Ice Cream

  1. Many years ago while taking my family to Hershey Park we stopped for ice cream. My 15 month old daughter was asleep in her stroller. I put a spoon full of ice cream up to her mouth and she unconsciously opened her lips so I put some in. (she must have smelled it). Although she didn’t make noise her expressions were similar and she kept licking her lips and eating it while still asleep.

Was on an extended hotel motel stay many decades back that extended through the Thanksgiving holiday. However, that holiday was was not a holiday where I was, it was just regular workdays. Anyways, there was a full sit down or take it out place nearby that had all the normal meal choices including pumpkin pie. The problem was, the fridge was a tiny thing and the freezer only held one flat thing and didn’t keep it fully frozen either. So no place for frozen treats.

Good fortune and a bit of weather put about a foot or two of snow down. I had a deep freeze right outside my door. I buried two half-gallons (that’s how they sold them back then) in a snow vault and had desserts the whole week-end too!

Guess what? I got pics. For someday. Got a caddy tale too.

  3. Hope she records the first brain freeze.
Remember the old days walking into K Mart and they had the popcorn, sandwiches and those icy frozen orange drinks (not slurpees) with the ice chips?
Those used to give me bad brain freeze but I’d want one every chance I had.

  5. Ice Cream is without doubt one of Humanity’s all-time greatest inventions, right up there with cars and beer.

Try to eat ice cream, drink beer, and drive a fast car all at the same time, but don’t get caught.
