Sharp & Flat
Some are EXACTLY the same tone: A sharp = B Flat
MOST SONGS are written by COMITY; A writer, lyricist, Possible some SINGER input, with some residuals going to other artists where (sounds enough like ______’s song) so we give them a bit of a cut $$$ to keep the wheels moving.

It isn’t awful but it isn’t country. Obviously a black male voice approximation. Merely an observation not a put down. Perfectly fine but not a sound/tone/style/timbre associated with country. Perhaps it’s a tip of the hat to Chris Stapleton and his appropriation of a singing style associated with black/soul/gospel singers. Anyway, after listening for a minute or so I couldn’t help but hear Eric Cartman singing: “Day is never over, Massa got me workin’, someday Massa set me free.”
It’s a caricature of a style/genre. Doesn’t mean it’s totally awful and unlistenable, it’s just not genuine but then, little is these days.
