The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has decided to allow a case suing AARP for accepting commissions on the sale of insurance when it is not a licensed insurer in the state of California. AARP is paid what they claim is a “royalty” by UnitedHealth, who has also been named in the suit, but in reality is a commission from the insurance company.
This is not the first case going after AARP for this deceptive practice. I found past lawsuits filed in Texas and New York.
AARP is a joke. Main purpose is to scam old people. They supported Obamacare. Shocker.
Yeppers….and the festering wound that IS the insurance industry will continue to procreate more shady deals…
What did United Health Care know and when did they present it?
Totally despise AARP — stuff from them goes immediately into the trash. They sucked Obama’s dick big time.
I always like to take a huge gulp of a carbonated drink and then say to whoever, “You know what AARP is?”
aarp ( yes, not in caps.),is not worth the fleas flying around my dogs ass. PERIOD.
Phuck them. I hope they go bankrupt.
Hey! Wait a minute. If a commission is a commission, even when the both names on the check call it a royalty, then what’s a campaign contribution?
Like I’ve said before I finally got them to quit annoying me by shredding their applications and putting the confetti remains back into their pre paid return envelopes and sending it back to them. After 2-3 times of doing this they figured it out that I wasn’t interested in what they were peddling and they haven’t contacted me since.
