Absentee Ballots and Voter Fraud – IOTW Report

Absentee Ballots and Voter Fraud

I just receive the letter (below) today. I live in Minnesota (deep, deep blue) and was so mad that I ripped it in two and threw it in the trash. Then I thought – no, I’ll share it with the  iOTW peeps. My name is blacked out, but the rest you can see – especially WHO PAID FOR THIS piece of crap.  Yes, you guessed correctly.

Two years ago Minnesota did not pass the Voter ID bill that was on the ballot. I knew then that we would never have another honest election, especially with the SoS being Democrat.

I feel like moving to the first state to secede from the Union.

  1. Hi Claudia. You ought to have sent it back to them with a letter that you are consulting with your lawyers on the legality of a political party acting on behalf of the Secretary of State and cc’s the Secretary of State. It would have at least forced them to pay for a lawyer to tell them not to worry which could mean one less ad for these guys. I hope the honest Minnesotans are gearing up for November to do battle with the voter fraud that the Dems are bound to pull. I can’t help but think that if they had been ready for it last time that Franken would still be writing jokes for all the people that hate him at SNL.

  2. @scizzorbill — Wrong. It will be a 900 number.

As for this gaping hole in our fair electoral process, the problem is really residency requirements. Most states have them at about a week or two. It should be 1 year. You move outside your current county and you have to wait one year to vote after you register to vote. You don’t need to bring in a gas or water bill to prove your residency. The first time you register to vote, you fill out all of the forms and you get your confirmation of voter registration after one year from that date. Problem solved.

  3. Thought I’d miss living in Minnesota when I moved 14 years ago but the hunting and fishing is just as good here and I have a great governor in Scott Walker. Still a Vikings fan though–some things just can’t change.
