Daily Caller: MSNBC’s new weekend program, “Saturday Night Politics,” reached a new low in ratings this past Saturday.
The show hosted by Donny Deutsch has been on the air for less than two months so far.
Last Saturday, 686,000 people tuned into Deutsch’s show with 56,000 in the key 25-54 age demographic, according to Nielsen Media Research. That marks a 25% drop in total viewers from the show’s premiere on May 4, which raked in 919,000 viewers.
The numbers have not reached the height of the premiere since then, which included an interview with presidential hopeful South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg. read more
Who watches this imbecile? He may be the most annoying person on TV since Charles Grodin checked out.
Sounds like fodder for a contest; name the worst host MSNBC ever aired. Deutsch is bad because he is so nondescript, so diaphanous, a heap of nothingness so lightweight that he needs a seat-belt for his anchor chair.
He doesn’t even warrant disdain, not like real neanderthals like OLbermann or Sharpton. Although not with us anymore I always got a chuckle out of Ed Shultz. He would get so mad on camera the over/under for him dropping dead of a heart attack was 20 minutes. He finally paid up.
^ “Diaphanous”? Damn, where’s my thesaurus?
A Donny Douche is whutcha get with MSD&C after the miscarriage of news…
Never heard of him.
Because he is a Deutsch-bag.
I guess it is time for a Summer’s Eve cleaning!
Aye, Crackerbaby — never heard of him.
Consistent News Network? Always last place and striving to go lower.
“Never heard of him.” I’ll third that.
With a name that many pronounce as “Doosh”, he needs to be better than he is…
