A record number of Republicans are running for Congress and Senate in 2020, according to federal filings exclusively obtained by Fox News.
“In 2019 alone, 781 Republicans filed federal paperwork to run for the House, the most ever recorded in an odd year at the Federal Election Commission. That’s up from 593 GOP candidates in 2017, when Democrats had an astounding 937 candidates at the same point,” writes Fox News.
Democrats still have a high number of candidates running for office, however, it seems Republicans are set to make a comeback. MORE
Finally. Trump shows the way. Democrats provide the ammunition.
Do you hear that thumping sound?
It’s a pair of size 13w workboots coming down the street to stomp your guts out.
Frank Cotton is on the way Progs.
When vetting ANY candidate for ANY office in the government, the very first question should be; “Are you going to run for re-election if you get elected now?” The second question to ask; “Will you work to pass legislation for term limits and the prohibition of becoming a lobbyist after one leaves service?”
Andy’s dad that doesn’t always work, especially for those who’ve never ran for office before. They’ll run that first time on I will only serve 2 or 3 terms and then when that time is up, they come up with some excuse why they are going back on that. Of course then Republican voters don’t hold them to their word and vote for them in the primaries.
With that said, I was determined two years ago I would never vote for a RINO ever again, then we got a demon house. So this time around I hope if everyone’s choice is a RINO or demon, they vote for a RINO. That makes me want to throw up just for saying it.
Lobbying should be illegal, only allowed when you approach on behalf of yourself, or immediate family.
Paid lobbyists can be shot.
