Alvin Bragg’s Worst Nightmare Just Hit Congress in the Form of the ‘ALVIN Act’

Western Journal: Citing the prosecution of former President Donald Trump as an exercise in the misuse of government funds, Republican Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona has introduced two bills – one labeled the ALVIN Act — to cut off funding to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

As noted by Fox News, the bills are part of a wider war between House Republicans and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. House GOP members have attacked the indictment of Trump as pure politics by Bragg, and issued subpoenas for documents concerning the indictment. Bragg has sued House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan saying the Ohio Republicans and his supporters of an unconstitutional attack against law enforcement.

“District Attorney Alvin Bragg ran on a campaign pledge to indict President Trump. Bragg took the unprecedented action of converting alleged minor business misdemeanors to 34 individual felonies in an attempt to put President Trump behind bars and humiliate him and his supporters,” Biggs said in a statement on his website. more here

  2. They receive a lot more than 5k, that was just what was directed to this witch hunt.

Bragg was angry when he discovered that federal funds where used and stopped it at 5k trying to prevent further federal oversight.

To late you self licking ice cream cone, your suit got tossed because of this 5k, moron…

  3. Rs are great at this kind of grandstanding. dems have the Senate and WH, the bill is DOA. Don’t worry, I’m sure Captain Obvious will send out some mean tweets and demand letters.

In 2016 they had both chambers and the WH. They with Paul Ryan leading the way, slow walked every GD thing Trump had campaigned on except a tax cut. Then when the Rs lost the House, the dems went to town with lawfare BS.

It’s a wonder DJT accomplished what he did. If he miraculously makes it back, his appointing game better be off the charts improved.
