As he’s told us many times, he had a great life and certainly didn’t need the monumental shitstorm that has been raining down on him since he went for it. I read just before he took that ride down the escalator he turned to Eric and said, now we find out who our friends are.

Hollywood and the totalitarian “left” were slobbering all over his ass when he was handing out money. Once he got in and showed some determination to do what he said he’d do, the political class (and consequently the sycophantic class – Hollyweird, the Media, Academia, &c.) started to look like what they are – liars and hypocrites.
“Managed Decline” has been the order of the day (since ~ Eisenhower? certainly since Kennedy), until such time that full scale Tyranny can be imposed, and President Trump has fucked up their time-line.
