An amusement park ride malfunction in Saudi Arabia has reportedly left 23 people injured, with three critically hurt.
Video of the incident shows the ride with “360 degrees” written atop it swinging back and forth before the arm with the spinning wheel carrying passengers snapped off the frame of the ride. more here
Hmm, maybe they should have weighed the passengers like they do for some with airplanes.
More likely 3rd world workmanship…
Malfunction? That was a catastrophic failure.
I heard the ride engineer worships a psychotic god, reveres a homicidal pedophile, thinks nanny goats are the epitome of female beauty, and drinks camel piss for health reasons.
Looks like a black bag job to me…
…severe spinal injuries, severe lower limb injuries, internal organ injuries as they are suspended and dont stop when the body does when there’s a lot of momentum, brain injuries with a LOT of closed head trauma for the same reason, brain bleeds, areterial tears, muscle and ligament tears, pelvic fractures, possible rib and collarbone injuries depending on the harness design.
Basically a high-speed auto accident from beneath with no airbags where the car can entrap your legs beneath it.
It didnt kill them since it tore off on the upswing and dispelled some of the energy there which also caused it to hit more or less flat instead of flinging them into the nearest concession stands, but they may well WISH they were dead.
An awful lot of recovery time with pain and probable amputations ahead of them.
If they can recover at all.
…whatever man makes can break.
You are never as far from death as you think you are.
Not even at an amusement park.
…and dont think its just them, there’s plenty of happy-time death right here in the good ol’ USA…

…I had a boss once who formerly worked for King’s Island and had to explain THIS to the Department of Agriculture…

…and he said they had to deal with stupid shit injuries too, like morons elevator surfing on the Eifel Tower replica.
But more people probably die in car wrecks to and from the parks than in all the worldwide park accidents combined.
No ones ever safe.
Not here, not there, not anywhere.
You pays your money and takes your chances.
Prepare your soul accordingly.
I think I’ll just stick with the Ferris Wheel from now on. Rides like the one shown just make me barf.
It was Andrew Stevens, Revenge for the arabs killing George C Scott. Who didn’t see the Fury.
…but you could always just stick to the waterparks instead…

It was Allah’s will….
Well…ppp… at least I’m not alone in feeling comfortable that moslems were killed. Don’t want them injured, don’t want them to suffer at all. I am fully aware that the fundamental of their entire being involves my extirpation so, turn about is fair play.
When I was little somewhere around 1957 or 1958 my dad took my sister and I on a Ferris Wheel ride. All of a sudden he started to yell at the operator to stop. After he stopped us, dad showed him the nut holding the seat on was missing and the seat was almost ready to slip off. Have never been too keen of carnival rides since then myself.
@Dumb Bunnies,,,, I’m shocked,,, they usually have such geniuses running the carnival rides. sarc..
