An early word about the Texas elections – IOTW Report

An early word about the Texas elections

American Thinker: According to some national reports, the “Beto” wave is about to turn Texas blue.  This is based on some very good fundraising numbers for Mr. O’Rourke, the very liberal man from South Texas.

Congratulations to Beto, but will it make any difference?  I don’t think so.  Let me tell you why:

1. The polls show Senator Cruz ahead of Representative O’Rourke, anywhere from 7 to 11 in the last five polls.  Beto has not hit 45% in a single poll yet.

2. The actual votes cast show that Beto has “problemas” that money can’t fix.  MORE

  1. Cruz single-handedly got more votes In the primary than all 3 of the democrats combined. It’s all hype and I blame drudge. For some reason drudge has it out for Cruz ever since the ’16 primary

  2. Tommy, try playing the video and then left clicking with your cursor over the video. It should give you an option to copy the address. This video, in ten minutes, explains a lot that leftards don’t get.

  3. He comes from quite a family. They do all get involved in the law, it seems.
He’s scrubbed, and scrubbing, all references to their colorful history. Archiving is your friend now-a-days.
It seems like he is a good demoscat. I wonder if he will tell the story about when he was arrested for breaking and entering. That sounds so cute.

  4. You’re right Brad, Fox and Drudge both have the same mindset as Mika “it’s our job to tell them what to think” Brezinski. I’m not too happy with what they want us to think.

  5. From Pox – “Much of the money came from small, individual donations, O’Rourke told his supporters. He estimated his campaign received 215,714 individual donations in the second quarter, a marked increase from about 141,000 in the first quarter. O’Rourke said the average contribution is $33, with about 70 percent of the donations coming from within the state.”

Me thinks its more likely a bunch of the same fools who don’t want to get bagged for sending in large sums of money, so they get a bunch of prepaid Visa cards, have a small group in the basement at the parents house and then astroturf those contributions in. Just like Obummer.
