Democratic strategist Doug Schoen has been a Democrat all his life. When you’re a Democratic strategist, you’re pretty committed. But if you’ve watched him over the years, he’s also one of the few who’s maintained any common sense in the process. He’s always seemed like a classical liberal to me. That means that in today’s climate, he sometimes ends up more on the right on issues where the left has often abandoned common sense.
Schoen was on a Fox panel on The Faulkner Focus and they were discussing how you didn’t know what you were getting with Harris because of her changing positions. He said you get a candidate who’s trying to paint herself as the candidate with a “new way forward.” more here
Agreed. Schoen is one of a very FEW relatively honest and straight-forward Dems out there and I’ve always found his commentaries well balanced.
Never liked Schoen, considered him dangerous. Reason plus partisan slant deliberately applied. Most leftists are at bottom, dullards, not Schoen.
