4. I love her intensity but… Look, when you abdicate your responsibilities to teach your children it’s difficult for me to feel sorry for you. I mean I do, but when you put your kids in a state funded school your kids ge taught statist propaganda. You expected something different???

7. It’s pretty easy to say “take your kids out of government schools” but not necessarily an option for many. I know from experience. I started a private Christian school 22 years ago when I saw what my kids were being taught. Many of our families came to us because they wanted better for their kids but could not do it on their own. Many of them were two income homes that were barley making it and it was not feasible for one of the parents to quit their job. Many were single parent homes, etc. So stop with the moral superiority complex, blaming parents who want better but can’t do it on their own. If you have such a strong opinion and want to contribute to the cause then sack up and help these families figure a way to opt out of public schools. Otherwise you’re just flapping your jaws with criticism and not helping the situation.

9. I think of the kids. who years from now might ask, “why didn’t you fight for me?” Words are hollow without action. Stand up all you parents. Speak up, Go to school board meetings. Bless this Mom.
