Anti-Communist Filmfest Getting Organized to Run in D.C.

Breitbart

“It’s time for an an anti-communist film festival,” said Mark Judge in the festival’s GoFundMe page. “Conservatives have been complaining about Hollywood for decades, yet the right has struggled, through lack of will or lack of money, to make movies promoting freedom and revealing the evils of socialism. The answer? Hold an anti-Communist film festival.”

Since announcing the festival, it has gained considerable interest on social media, with many saying it couldn’t come at a better time, including actor Nick Searcy (Justified). More

I recommended adding, “The Way Back,” “Coming Out of the Ice,” “The Death of Stalin,” “The Killing Fields” and most highly “Burnt by the Sun” and “The Chekist” to the list of films. – Dr. Tar

  1. @Bad_Brad — The commies are made up of factions, so the best approach is to shoot one commie in a way that his comrades think he was offed by someone in a different group. Then step back and watch them all shoot each other.

    That’s the lazy/intelligent man’s way.

  2. For those who like classic anti-commie/anti-corruption (B&W) films:

    1. Colonel Effingham’s Raid
    2. A Stranger in Town
    3. Mr. Smith Goes To Washington
    4. Pimpernel Smith
    5. The 49th Parallel

All free on YT, except Mr. Smith. Some very comedic scenes but with a clear message. All with happy endings.

One of my favorite old b&w movies is called Stairway To Heaven or by its other title A Matter of Life and Death with David Niven who is an RAF pilot in World War 2 who supposedly dies after being killed over the N. Sea and falls in love with American girl who he is in contact with over the radio. He is supposed to die but a screwup in heaven by a French angel somehow allows him to be still alive. He comes back to earth falls in love with the American girl and challenges his death before a heavenly court and eventually he’s on his way back to heaven and ends up being vindicated by a heavenly court made of American patriots of many generations, British patriots as well with Raymond Massey as the heavenly prosecutor who hates Americans because of the American revolution. He is tried by a jury of bad guy villains who acquit him because the American girl who’s in love with him sheds a tear proving her love for him and the heavenly court allows him to live until he finally dies later. It’s a great movie that is available on You Tube. The movie shifts from color for all the scenes on earth while shifting to b&w for the heavenly court scenes. I originally saw this movie way back in the early 70’s on the late-night movie and highly recommend it.
