  9. The Portland Oregonian called that a “firecracker”. Bullshit; it was at least an M80. They also called the prayer rally a “right wing protest”, and failed to say that the “fire cracker” triggered the riot.

  10. Radioman and Plutonium. Fireworks,looked like a small mortar that you drop in a tube and lite. Can’t buy them in Oregon but just across the river you can. I have seen them about 3 inches across.
    If one were to go off close by it would do real damage that on was maybe a 1 inch mortar. Look at the burst and what looks like streamers. M80’s don’t go off like that not the ones I have set off.

  32. For those of you confused about the explosive. Technically it is. It is a fireworks mortar that was tossed into the crowd. One that, as an Oregonian, I have to mention is illegal here. The individual who had it brought it over from Washington where they are legal to be used to celebrate fouth of July. Most of them are the size of baseballs and if you held one in your hand and lit it, it would take a couple of fingers off.
