We were out with the family looking for whales and a pod of 12 transient killer whales where chasing the seal. It ripped towards the boat in a desperate escape and scrambled on the deck. It fell off three times in panic and finally stayed on until the whales gave up after about 30-45 minutes. Most intense epic experience ever. Love you Nature. What a lucky seal.

Reminds me of the old sailor’s motto, “Any port in a storm.”
survival of the fittest.
reminds me of the soros msm and obama justice department lifeboat keeping hillary the beast out of jail.
Life is unfair, especially in the wild.
But sometimes, the luck is with you.
Good for Mr Seal
Now there’s your good deed for the day. 🙂
If he can navigate, keep him on. But he has to bring beer.
Good thing there wasn’t any Canadian Club onboard
We’re going to need a bigger boat.
They had an Andre and they tossed it back/let it go? I’d have taken it home.
Nice video. I only wish people would film in landscape. Is that too much to ask?
Back in the day when I fished off shore Northern Calif. where White Sharks are the big boys in the neighborhood. I carried a gun on board in case I had a sea lion try to climb aboard to evade a shark, I would sacrifice the sea lion before I’d let the shark eat the ass end off my boat! If it meant the difference between paying a fine or dying…I’d pay the fine.
when Orca Winfrey is hongry, nothing will stop that whale from getting a meal.
Why the hell can’t people learn how to hold the phone when recording video? I’m sure they could be trained.
The Go PRO footage is pretty cool.
If you don’t care for the portrait phone video, you’ll like this one.

You even get to hear what they Orcas have to say about it.
Reminds me of my fat little black lab trying to jump in my truck.
