Disappointment was overwhelming this week on the left as Congress came to a budget deal for the next two years. The self described “Resistance” voiced their dissatisfaction that democrats refused to sacrifice re-election this Fall for roughly 1.8 million illegal aliens who could claim to have been children when they entered the country.
A piece in The Atlantic suggests that pro-illegals in Congress may abandon the “Dreamers” altogether in order to ensure the borders stay open to future democrat voters. “As it stands, Democrats in both houses appear to be on the brink of dropping demands to protect the “Dreamers,” undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children (protections that are supported by 74 percent of Americans). More
I don’t believe the “1.8 million DACA” number anymore than I believe there are only 11 million “undocumented immigrants”.
And those particular 11 million live in CA. lol
“…protect the “Dreamers,” undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children (protections that are supported by 74 percent of Americans).”
74% of citizens of the United States maybe, but not Americans.
They have to go back.
They may have lost their lunatic base, so they probably will lose anywho.

This is why we can’t have
niceonly marginally sh!tty things.> They have to go back.
No. They have to go. (That’s it, all done.) If they want to decide where, good on them. If those who brought them here, as color of law, want to decide where they, themselves, will go, good on them. Another country you have multiple citizenships with, Canada, what’s left of The European Union, an ocean view helicopter ride, a really, really long hike in the desert… whatever you prefer. As long as you’re gone before someone else arrives for you. In that case, good on them.
I wish Trump had refused to take the ones Australia is sending us from that secret deal Osmidgen made for all those Asians incarcerated off shore. That would have been a real statement that things were changing. They will bring thousands of relatives if chain migration is allowed to continue.
I know a young man of Mexican descent. Not sure but his mother may be illegal. His dad is in prison in Mexico. But as far as I know, he was born here.
We joke with each other — he calls me cracker, I tell him to get up there and fix my roof. He hates Trump, natch, so the other day I asked him if he understood the REAL opposition to immigration that most Americans have (in his mind…racism, period). I said no, that’s got nothing to do with it. I explained that almost none of us have a problem with someone from pretty much any country (a) coming here LEGALLY, (b) abiding by every law and accepted custom which we have to abide by, and (c) working to be as productive as most of us try to be, without (D) being a burden or threat to anyone else. He nodded, okay fine.
Being a young man he’s still big on the concept of Fairness (we have a saying where I work, “Fair is where you go to get cotton candy and ride the ferris wheel.”) So I went on to ask him if people coming here illegally from, say, Mexico, are being fair to everyone FROM MEXICO who are standing in line for years to get here legally. He acknowledged that no, it’s not fair.
“That, MS-13 and the threat of Islam, is why we want a wall, and it’s why we elected Trump. Not racism. Get it now?”
He knows I like him and that I have his back. I call BS on him whenever necessary and never lie to him, and he knows it. He seemed genuinely thoughtful afterward. No idea what if any will stick.
What capped it is when I pointed out what happens to illegals from south of Mexico who get caught sneaking into Mexico. He acted surprised to hear that. I bet he truly never knew it before.
If they lose the ‘dreamers’ and their votes, then whose votes will replace them? Dems won’t dump the ‘dreamers’ until they have a replacement group. And I think they feel that they can’t find them among US citizens.
They will do whatever is expedient.
They have NO morals. NO principles.
If Americans make it known that they care more about national security than the fates of any particular illegal alien-invading rat-person (through funding or fit-throwing) they will abandon this foolishness. If Americans just pick their noses and continue watching TV they will pursue it with less publicity. They assumed that they had a winning hand with the whole “poor despised immigrant who comes here out of love, doing the jobs that Americans won’t” and were shocked to discover that Americans don’t want their country destroyed for the sakes of a few million rat-people.
Schmuckles’ crocodile tears weren’t for the rat-people, they were for his bewildered and detached party.

I think they “know” they can’t find them among Americans.

Americans, “old” Americans, the ones who, and all of whose parents, were here before the “new” Americans arrived, understand that it is NOT for the benefit of a “few” millions of “immigrants”. It is for the benifit of dozens of million-, and a few billion-, aires who want “migrant” workers, that never leave. The Party will not let those people down.

That’s why I predict some of the more insane among them will soon be calling for, if not engaging in, assassinations. The swamp denizens in power NOW have already engaged in sedition and possibly treason. Rand Paul, the baseball diamond, pretty much every mass shooter in recent years being a registered Democtat…it’s not much of a stretch.
The question is, what will be our response?
Mohammedans will be no viable replacement either, since they’re starting to figure out (or should by looking at Europe) that Mohammedans are ungovernable in any appreciable numbers and do not truly share the Left’s agenda. Not in the long term anyway. They have a very different vision.
Their only remaining hope outside of mass violence will be another Obama who rules by fiat.
The Dems may feel so boxed in now that they believe their only remaining move is to call the president’s bluff and dare him to start deporting “Dreamers.” They may be calculating that it would turn the popular table on the president if, indeed, ICE began rounding them up and shipping them off.

There won’t be an “our”. Mine will be golf claps.

Replacemnet for whom? They are the only viable replacement for the communalists. Nobody else is willing to put their shoes on.

That can be discounted. (Orange Hitler doesn’t have the gravitas for a “constitutional crisis”. Not that that’s a bad thing.) What would flip the table, and disrupt the “law abiding” rules of the game, would be collecting the known “illegals” faster than their own countries will voluntarily accept their return. What do you do with foreign prisoners, whose countries don’t want them back? Or, more realistically, what do The Party’s Loyal™ magistrates, propagandists, and bagmen, do with a collection of foreigners whose countries want them to stay in America?
The Democrat Party has a Big Plantation. There is plenty of room for more illegal aliens and welfare addicts. It’s their future.
There’s an easy solution if the Dems won’t bargain on behalf of DACA recipients. Republicans put forward their own bill letting 1.8 mil DACA stay and undergo a long tortuous process towards citizenship, fund the Wall, get right of the diversity lottery and chain migration, then watch the Dems respond to their own voters when the block the measure from passage.

So the political plan is to call amnesty the solution?
Here, let me straighten your bowtie.
