Armed and Unprepared – IOTW Report

Armed and Unprepared

VoxPopoli:

I don’t agree at all with this American Greatness article. The recent election demonstrated, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that democracy is dead and there is no political exit. It strikes me as yet another conservative finger-wagging “this is your LAST chance to vote your way to safety”. But the voting machines have been compromised, ergo no one’s votes matter in the slightest. There is no more Democrat vs Republican, there is only optimate vs populare. MORE

  1. ???? Okay… he disagrees with the Amer Greatness article’s proposed actions that can be taken at the local and grassroots levels. Okayk, but in lieu of those, he proposes… what? I didn’t see any ideas. Give up, lay down and die?

(Clue in for anyone who thinks that citizen armed conflict is the solution. If you can’t get your neighbors to organize and get contol over your local city councils, DAs, school boards, sheriffs and election officials, you aren’t going to be accomplishing anything against the organized U.S. military.)

Go look at where the election fraud actually happened — in a thousand little places. Local. Local precincts. Local election officials. Local people who decide who will observe. Local support for who ends up in state legislatures in many little precincts. Locally organized groups that ultimately decide state officials who select voting methods.

  2. When even the “Supreme Court” is gone how can democracy remain?

The election was stolen and Sundowner Joe is not, never was, nor ever will be the legitimate President of the United States.

Our truths are no longer self evident.

  3. Revolution, as near as I can determine, is never fomented and carried by the mass of people. It is fomented by the petty wealthy, elite, the upper middle and above. Once fomented the masses do their usual par, that of killing and dying for the cause. We are the bullet throwers and catchers, on both sides. In addition, when the men become angry a great rumbling is heard. When the women become angry as well, then action is taken.

  4. Our democratic process is worth fighting for. Despite all the “inside knowledge” of our collapsed republic that seems to permeate the IOTW comment sections, It is far from over.

  5. “against the organized U.S. military”
I highly doubt it’s going to be our military. However they’re trying to change that right now.
They’ve stolen an election, turned DC into an armed encampment, locked us down with the Covid hoax, the puppet President is writing EOs he doesn’t even read, they’re villanizing us to look like the lunatic fringe, and to top it all off, they’ve cut off our ammo supply. The longer we wait, the worse it’s going to be. We need to get organized. And I think the dark web is the only place that can happen. Oops, gotta go, I’m hearing helicopters approaching.

  6. From Jason: “Our democratic process is worth fighting for.”

You are using the political definition of the word “fight”. When you actually mean ‘talk’ or ‘argue’.

When you have leftist poll managers that tell poll watchers to leave, and they do so, instead of throwing a punch, we’ve lost.

Leftists have a large number of nasty, confrontational, in your face shriekers that the well mannered and polite conservatives just do not know how to deal with. They have found that just being a bully is wildly effective. Expect to see more of this.

  7. Democracy isn’t dead – it’s never been alive – or even viable.
We had a Republic, but we pissed that away when we allowed grifters, liars, thieves, embezzlers, perverts, megalomaniacs, and totalitarians to exist within the framework.
The best defense against cockroaches, mice, rats, headlice, tapeworms, and nihilistic totalitarians is a good offense – keep them out in the first place!
    Never let them settle.
Once you have an infestation it is more difficult to cleanse.
But make no mistake – a powerful purgative is required – and repeatedly applied until every vestige of the infestation is eliminated.

  8. Brad, good read. It’s interesting just how different we are from the other side. Where they worry about white nationalism, racism, sexism, gun violence, and police brutality, we worry about the integrity of our institutions, the erosion of our civil liberties, the sanctity of borders, and keeping government out of our affairs. We really are 2 different species, from different planets and any hope of conciliation is pie in the sky.

Oh, and Jack Dorsey may be a lot of things but dumb or undeserving, nope. He could give Twitter away and still be a gazillionaire just on his Square revenue. Guys like Dorsey, Musk, Gates, Bezos, and Cook, slam them for their dopey politics but their achievements in capitalism, providing a service that people want and getting rich in the process, that is the American dream.

OT, I’m watching Hawley at CPAC, he’s got the passion, for sure but what the hell was he thinking with his $15 minimum wage bill? Channeling Bernie is never a good idea.

  9. There are already organized groups that are not trained.
Look at the Muslim’s. They have been at it for many centuries and who in the US does the Left leave alone?
    Ask yourself, Why?
