Bearing Arms:
A pair of armed citizens in Des Arc, Arkansas helped police capture a murder suspect who had escaped a local jail hours earlier after overpowering guards, and the local sheriff is praising the actions of the two men.
According to KATV in Arkansas, Earl Parks, who was being held in the Prairie County jail accused of murder in the death of his girlfriend, attacked two guards with the help of fellow inmate Craig Gilliam. The pair managed to get the keys off the guards and took off, and while Gilliam was apprehended just a few minutes later, authorities had no idea where Parks had run off. more
Yet another happy ending………….
Could have been happier; with him carted off in a body bag.
A missed opportunity to save the tax payers some serious coin
OH, those awful, self-armed citizens, making the 2nd Amendment look important. /s
…you’d get arrested for doing that in OH…CCW laws are so screwed up that if you don’t actually cap a guy, they say you didn’t meet the standard of being in fear for your life and therefore you’re just brandishing…in other words, you either kill a guy or run away, there’s no middle option unless you’re actually inside your house…
^^^^ & if the perp isn’t ‘inside your house’, drag ’em in after you pop ’em ^^^^
Poor perp had the misfortune to commit murder in Arkansas. If he killed someone in a Blue state, he would be released by now due to WuFlu; no need to escape.
Don’t drag him back in the house. It’s not like they won’t figure it out and get you more charges. You were in fear for your life then shut up.
so invite him into your house before you cap him?
