I had a sister-in-law that passed from small cell lung cancer when her daughter was just 8. She lost all her hair in the battle for life, so my wife and her other sister cut theirs off in solidarity.
Now my wife is facing her own cancer battle, hers is with breast cancer, which took first the hair, then the life of her favorite aunt shortly after I met her 30 odd years ago. God is moving in answer to prayers on my wife, they are telling her no chemo for now, but she’s got a brutal radiation therapy regimen to look forward to as soon as her reconstruction surgeon says she’s healed enough that may well take her hair anyway.
She’s been through terrible times with this. WE’VE been through quite a bit of shit over this, and really its just STARTING. One thing she DOESN’T need is cracks about her appearance.
I am not young, but I know a thing or two. I once held a black belt in TKD and I know quite a bit about the human body.
You fuck with my wife, especially over the way a treatment for a terrible disease makes her look, I WILL fuck YOU up.

It was a stupid joke aimed at the wrong person, so a beatdown was entirely appropriate.
