Baseball Season Could Be On The Verge Of Cancellation -Report

Trending Politics:

It is looking increasingly likely that the 2020 Major League Baseball season could be on the verge of being canceled less than two weeks after the delayed season opener.

Things are looking mighty grim after multiple members of the Miami Marlins tested positive for the coronavirus leading to the team postponing a week’s worth of games and sending a ripple effect through the league.

  1. MLB is already canceled in my house.
    NBA won’t be seen either.
    NFL? Who cares?
NHL is tolerable. But it’s hockey. A pretty boring sport.

We’ll be watching stuff like spinning yarn of cat hair to knit a sweater for the aunt you always hated because she smells like European cheese.

  2. What?? America’s game is going to be canceled? NEVER!!
Oh wait, these are the same divas who are kneeling during the national anthem even though they are all making 6, if not 7 or 8 digit paydays? Go ahead, cancel them.

  3. Hey MLB. How about a high and tight fastball to the chin.
A little brush back pitch from the fans? Not a flaccid Fauci. A Roger Clemens during his prime. A Sandy Koufax. A Denny McLain.

A rising heater headed right for your chin?

You pussies are finished. America’s pastime is over.

  4. It’s not real baseball this year when played in empty stadiums where no fans are allowed because of the wu flu. Better luck next year, if we are allowed to return to normal as a country. I love baseball but not the politicized version we are seeing this year. Hell, it’s not even really my country right now since everything has been put on hold by the democraps in order to destroy Donald Trump at any cost. And 2020 is not even over yet. This season I don’t even give 2 hoots in Hell about the Seattle Mariners.

  5. Stopped watching pro sports in the 70s.
They started passing out million$ contracts to men who play a kid’s sport, not on my dime.
They paid service men and women, who put their life on the line, poverty wages
Now, on top of that foolishness, they want to get all political, screw them, twice.
Jump on the bandwagon folks, I have been driving it for a long time.
For me to support a pro athlete, they would have to be driving an Uber.
My opinion of pro sports is finally cool.

  6. This month, baseball is out…..next month it will be hotdogs and apple pie.

These assholes are working their way down the line and will continue as long as we allow it.

  7. I am curious though. So a bunch of team members tested positive – has anyone actually gotten sick? Or are a few positive tests with no symptoms enough to end an entire season?, because SCARIEST DISEASE OF ALL TIMESES!!!1!eleventy!!

  8. Off topic: My dog, AJ, has cancer of the spleen and other tumors throughout his abdomen.
He’s a rescue, I got him from an 80 year old friend who was given the dog to care for by a drunk going into rehab, for the umpteenth time.
Don cannot care for himself, much less a dog, I took him.
Dumbest Lab I have ever owned, sweet beyond belief, dumb as a box of rocks.
He won’t even chase a chicken, some bird dog.
He doesn’t even like to swim, who ever heard of that?
Anyway, I know you folks are dog lovers, one who doesn’t deserve what he got is going over the rainbow bridge soon.
His last 4 years has been way better that what he had before.
Son & DIL came over to say goodbye today, he enjoyed the company, they recently lost one too.
Is somebody cutting onions around here, almost made it through this, without the waterworks.

  9. @Odd Duck
Oh, he was loved, you would have to have a heart of stone to not love him.
I always called him my Down’s boy, with love.
Not too bright but ya gotta love such a sweet disposition.
Who ever heard of a Lab that didn’t live to swim?
He was a world class hand shaker though.

  10. @OTD and others enduring THE SUCK.
Sorry about your pup. Watching a pet fade away is gut wrenching. It’s just horrible and you can try as you might to approach it from a clinical and logical perspective.
But in the end, tears will be shed.

As for everything else…. sports, dining out, taking a walk through a park, taking a kid fishing, or just going to the grocery store. Democrat monsters have gone way out of their way to make our every day lives as miserable as possible. For months.

But they are counting on your vote.

Strap up. Get involved. Volunteer. Get out of your comfort zone and let’s bury these socialist/leftist/anarchist/ I don’t understand why I don’t like my pee pee/retards once and for all. The morons and mental defectives need to be sent to institutions.

I going all in for volunteering for the next 90 days.
We need to stop reacting and complaining and start destroying these bedwetters.
    It’s over for them.

  11. Late to the comments, but……..
Do these “pro” sports PC dickwads have a patent and copyright on their various games? Baseball, football, basketball? Is there any reason why some enterprising businessmen (women) couldn’t get together a bunch of amateurs and start a “sandlot” team and league? Pay would be atrocious, everyone would have to work primary jobs, local coverage only. But with the mood the MAJORITY of the country is in, going to see a NON-PC game would be a treat.
Say……..didn’t all the pro major league sports start that way?

  12. @Jethro, J, TimBuktu, PHenry, MJA thanks for the condolences.
This is the second dog I have lost to an early death, two in a row.
Loki had lymphoma, He was aptly named, born on Easter Sunday, the sire was my sister’s Rotty, the bitch was a previously barren champion Walker Hound, she had one pup ever, Loki.
He was the only dog I have ever had that positively had a sense of humour, a real joker.
He was as smart as AJ is slow.
AJ was diagnosed Friday, it’s been a rapid downhill since then.
He’s on pain pills and anti nausea meds, afraid it won’t be long, gotta dig a grave and make a marker.
Carved LOKI in runes on his stone, gotta think about this some.

  13. @OTD ~ due to the popularity, Labs have been inter-bred into stupidity
same as the Golden Retrievers before them
same as the Irish Setters before them

it’s a vicious cycle (brought on by unscrupulous breeders), especially bad for the dogs

… but we love them all the same & each & every one of them are a precious grasp at the true nature of unconditional love … rejoice in the time God gives you with the pup

  14. @ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ, thanks
Yep, true, I have never bought a purebred, I prefer a cross with good genes.
AJ desperately needed a home, he was living in a sweltering/cold concrete floored room, hugely overweight.
He still has bare callous spots on his legs because of the rough concrete, not even a blanket, how do you say no?

  15. That’s hard stuff, OTD. Good job, though.

Praying for your peace of mind. I’ve been through a few of these myself. Does not make it any easier.

I think our pets are another way God shows us we don’t need our words so much. It’s how we treat each other that matters. That’s all that dog knows – how you treat him. He knows he’s loved.
