    Some guys want a fun ride those last years. Better to die that way than rich, alone, and without any smiles those last years.

    You can’t take it with you anyway.

    Met quite a few wealthy customers that knew there was no point in being cheap and stingy at the end of their lives. Don’t be too judgmental. They earned it and can spend it any way they want.

    A hot young lover that makes you feel good those last years doesn’t seem like a waste of money to men AND women in that position.

  8. I’ve been visiting a friend in a nursing home for the past 3 weeks and from what I saw, no one I observed knew what was going on. One guy was talking to an invisible someone as he wandered the hallways. Patients bunched up at an elevator never made any effort to move out of the way as people tried to exit the car. Sad. But my friend, a Vet, was released today and is now home, thank God.

    I’m in it for my Kids.
    If it wasn’t for my 21 year old Helping me this year HVACing I would have probably had a heart attack.
    My daughter is earning on her own.
    My wife holds down the Fort.

    BUT,

    I know of a HELL of A LOT of guys that had their ASSETS PILFERED and ended up with SH!T in their Diapers staring at that Crack in the wall.

  11. As an RN, I can tell you families and medical professionals are becoming much more comfortable with putting family members down. I even saw one of the Docs previously at my hospital falsify her notes, indicating that a patient consented to comfort care when I knew for damn sure the patient couldn’t.

  14. You take care of your kids first. Then spend the rest on yourself. No conflict. In your scenario, even the kids are after the money and not taking care of him. You never really know how things are going to end for you.

    I’m sure Bill doesn’t care what others think.

    As for me, I’m sure I’m going to be shot by a jealous husband.

    I’ll be bedridden and not guilty, he’ll have paranoid schizophrenia and shoot me thinking I had hanky panky with a wife he hasn’t had in decades.

    You never can tell how it’s going to end.
