At first, I thought it was going to be a cover that replaced ‘eyes’ with ‘lies’, but the original by The Who was a much better choice.

Saw the Who at the Pontiac Silverdome. Lucky I still have my hearing. Still had Keith Moon on drums so I’m thankful I saw them when I did. Oh yeah! Good video. Hits the mark.

I recall sometime ago (around his starting a run for President) reading that when Romney was Governor of Massachusetts and he signed their universal healthcare package into law he said that he had no choice because even though he disagreed with it the legislature would have overwritten his veto. I thought that this snake needed watching as he didn’t have the courage of his convictions back then what was he capable of now.
Anyway, I went to see the Who in Buffalo the day after the Cleveland tragedy. While it was a sad time they put on a terrific concert dedicated to those that lost their lives or were injured.

…the Who concert that ended festival seating was in Cincinnati, not Cleveland. And locally the reaction was, uh, “mixed”, from Al Schottlekotte, the local news icon who was trying to keep it together as he reported on it even as his son was at the concert (he was fine, but Al didn’t know that, pre-sailphone days), to the guy who sold T-shirts with footprints across the back and a legend on the front that said, “I’ll walk over YOU to see the WHO”.
…but to their credit, I heard the BAND was pretty jacked up about it, so that was nice, and Roger Daltrey even turned out to be a Clinton hater and Brexiteer much later…
Cleaning the swamp, doesn’t mean just democrats, although they seem to be the best at it. There has been republican shifty deals as well. I still wonder what happened to Paul Ryan. To just walk away.
Good video. He seems more genuine when he’s not in the spot light.
