  10. @CC – remember that time, Ross was shit on being a business man (small one) not unlike Mini Mike now. However Ross never portended to be a politician back then, said things politicians never said, about the US Government being the largest Business in History of the world not to be run by a business man. Run by greedy nepotistically elected somehow appointed assholes, like Mini Mike.

    I’ll point out that at least Boomers got a better education in high school, even as late as the mid-70s, and it was more thorough in math, science, civics, social studies, literature, history, writing, and general knowledge and living skills than the average millenial has after their undergrad.

    We could easily pull from memory a couple dozen phone numbers, change the oil and tires on our cars, knew how to cook an entire, nutritious meal without a microwave. We could do our own laundry and not ruin all our clothes, enjoy a good book, could start a gas engine mower and use it, build a fire, and could write a Thank You note. Boomer men know how to ask a girl out for a date and Boomer women know how to let a man open the door for her. We know how to use hand tools like rakes, hoes, shovels and pruning shears and how to give someone a jump start using battery cables. We know better than to place a penny across the plugged-in terminals of an A/C charger, eat laundry detergent pods, and take selfies with a mountain lion. Sure, we did dumb things, too, but we were too embarrassed to tell anyone, let alone post a video of it on Twitter or Facebook.

    This is Sander’s base. People who have few or no practical skills and are so half-witted they have little confidence in their own ability to get a job, increase their skills to get better jobs, and make it entirely on their own. I personally know older teenaged boys who cannot use a tire jack or a shovel. A shovel! You’d think they’d been exposed to some of this stuff just out of idle curiosity.

  21. We need to change the phrase Bring out your dead from Monty Python to Bring out your brain dead. I am a proud BOOMER, born in 1953 the height of the baby boom and yes we did have better education back then as well as learning how to work hard and be grateful to have been born in this great country when we were. Stupid snowflakes, your spiritual and intellectual descendants the hippies and stoners are your mentors. We grew out of it (most of us anyway) evidently you haven’t learned squat yet that the world doesn’t owe you a living.

  22. I should’ve said that their spiritual and intellectual forefathers were losers like Bill Ayres and Howard Zinn etc. are the real reason they’re so screwed up. They are the descendants of morons who want to destroy America as it was founded because it isn’t fair.
