  3. Bette Davis was an amazing actress. Great find, Michelle’s Big Beaver (your name always makes me laugh)! Now, after hearing Davis try to take Reagan down a few notches with her “We used to call him Little Ronnie Reagan” and state the obvious repeatedly (that he was not a A-List actor), I am convinced she was mostly type cast as the convincing bitch she usually played, and played very well.

  6. Bette was an extremely talented and driven actress, she gave the usual Hollywood lib response at the beginning but obviously softened on Reagan later on. At least she wasn’t one of the Crypto-Commies that permeated Hollywood in the forties and on. She was smart enough to know how much influence that actors can wield over people and kept out of an arena that she didn’t know well as to not lead people astray. She essentially said that it was impossible to know everything so best to stay out of it. That can’t be said for many of the brain dead drug-addled mouth breathers that are anti-American and Anti-Trump today: Fonda, Streisand, Tomlin, Baldwin, etc., etc.
