(Better Late Than) Evers Puts National Guard On Alert As Rittenhouse Trial Goes To Jury

PJ Media

Channel 3000 in Wisconsin reported that, last summer, “Evers deployed National Guard troops to the city following a violent night of protests during which Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people, killing two of them.” [emphasis added]

Conservatives, including Wisonsin U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, have never let him forget it.

Already, the usual rabble, who started rioting after the police shooting of Jacob Blake, have begun making threats to the public and the jury in the Rittenhouse case if they don’t come to the right decision.

Many on the Left have called Rittenhouse a vigilante, but what do you call threatening a town and its people if the justice that is served doesn’t meet with the mob’s approval?

Evers says he’s scrambling 500 National Guardsmen and women to help. More

  1. National Guard ROE will put them in danger. Let the vigilantes handle it. Rittenhouse got a hat trick of scumbags. Three for three is not bad.

  2. Every citizen in that town should be armed and patrolling the streets after the verdict. The cops should withdraw into their stations and let justice prevail. Any out of town Antifa thug who so much as pisses on the street should suffer whatever fate the people deal out. They have a right to protect their town from those who would burn it.

  3. Keep the NG RoEs simple: if you even LOOK like you’re going to commit violence, we get to shoot you. If we miss you, we hit your friends (if you have any).

  5. Not to be insensitive, oh screw it…We are heading up to southwest WI in a week. This week is a rather Big Deal in our extended family. Family reunion, 2 birthdays, Thanksgiving, and most importantly, Deer Season.

Hopefully the distance will be in our favor. We will be in the middle of God’s Country, 30 minutes to the closet grocery, a veritable paradise… but if some dipshit decides to lie down in the middle of I90 to protest, there will be problems.
