Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Eww!

The Week –

To you, it’s the Happiest Place on Earth, but for many others, it’s their final resting place.

About once a month, someone is caught dumping the cremated ashes of a loved one at Disneyland or Disney World, current and former custodians tell The Wall Street Journal.  When that happens, the clean-up crews come with a heavy-duty vacuum that is able to pick up ultra-fine material. People drop ashes in flower beds, near park gates, and on rides like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, but the most popular place is, of course, The Haunted Mansion. More

  1. Just wait till the Red Sox put in their closer Craig Kimbrel, the goofy one who stoops down and bends his arms down like a bird before each pitch. My daughter can’t stand him because she’s afraid he’s going to choke and blow the save and the game. I just want a 7 game World Series especially after that 18 inning almost 7 and half hr. marathon game last night. I’m never awake at 12:30 AM. I feel sorry for all you East coasters with that game ending at 3:30 in the morning. Bring back day games in the World Series please. The Red Sox just went ahead 5-4 in the top of the 9th, it’s hang on, nail biting, yelling at the TV time again for Red Sox fans.

  2. Actually the practice seems appropriate, given that Walt Disney himself was cremated (sorry if you heard otherwise), so it would make more sense if they would just set aside an area in the park where people could discreetly scatter the ashes of their loved ones without penalty or blame. The spot could even have its own theme song:
